Info Sheet - Yugo or Yugal

Stan Allen:Yugal was my door gunner for awhile. It could be spelled differently. His name tag also said yugal or however it was spelled. It may have been Yugo. He was from Yugoslavia. I ask him what his real name was and he told me, that I could not pronounce it even if he told me what it was. And that Yugal was ok with him. He also said that his real name would not fit on the uniform name tag. That is all that I know about him. I wish that I knew more. He also told me that the US. had gotten his family out of Yugoslavia and his serving in the military, was his way of repaying the US. back for saving his family.
